How do STLP leadership and technology skills transfer to real life?
When STLP students graduate from high school and continue to
mentor and motivate other non-graduating students to excel.
Alumni are invited to attend the annual awards program, speak on panels about college or work experiences, judge at events, manage an event, or present technology topics to P-12 STLP students.
STLP are in all facets of life.
Some stay in the community and support the district technology needs.
Many go off to college across Kentucky and select a variety of majors.
ALUMNI AT FALL SHOWCASE AND STATE
Former STLP students return as alumni to help judge at fall showcase.
Many former STLP alumni attend the state championship awards program to model as example where STLP can lead a student strong in talent, leadership and technology.
Prior to 2006
Many former STLP students supported Kentucky Teaching and Learning Conference (KTLC) with special talks and discussions. Many attended the Tech Tank event at the state event prior to the formation of STLP State Championship.
State Championship 2006-2011
Former STLP senior engineers returned to guide and lead the STLP senior and junior engineers.

Dr. Elizabeth Scoville (Laurel) began Computers For Kids in 1999 and continues to monitor the prpgram while finishing her medical degree.
