The KETS Client Software Compatibility Matrix details the current status of vendor support for client software products running on specific Operating Systems and/or Internet Browsers. This document lists the core KETS Enterprise software applications that are used and/or required to be used by all districts. As part of the KETS Software Lifecycle, this document should be used to guide you when making planning decisions as to whether it is appropriate to deploy the latest Operating System and/or Internet Browser within your district as well as used to plan for retirement of older versions of OS and Browsers as KETS software vendors phase out their support.
While the KETS Client Software Compatibility Matrix focuses on the core KETS Enterprise software applications, it is recognized that there are many additional software applications that are used by school districts across the state. Some of these additional applications may only be used by a handful of districts while others may be used by many. It is strongly encouraged that district technology staff spend time testing application compatibility for software that has been deployed within their district that is not part of the core KETS Enterprise software applications prior to upgrading to or deploying new OS and Browser versions.
