At Risk Counts for SEEK

Last Updated on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 8:27 PM

Approximately two years ago KDE began extracting At Risk data from the student information system, Infinite Campus, automatically.  Per 702 KAR 3:270, Section 2 (h), the SEEK formula uses the prior year Average Daily Membership (ADM) of students approved for free lunch reported through the student information system.  The data is pulled annually on the last weekend of June each year to be used in SEEK in the upcoming year.  Data extracted this year on June 29, 2012, will be used in FY 2012-13 SEEK calculations.

At Risk data is extracted based on active enrollment. A student must have an economic indicator of “4103-Free Lunch-Eligible” in the FRAM module of Infinite Campus.  Districts are encouraged to monitor their At Risk data frequently, there are various reports that can be pull from Infinite Campus to verify At Risk data.
